Dr. AuatCheein, Fernando A., IEEE Senior member, Professor. Heis working in School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK. He holds MSc on Control Systems Engineering, San Juan National University, San Juan, Argentina and PHD on Engineering, Institute of Automatics, San Juan National University, San Juan, Argentina from 2005 to 2009. He finished Postdoc in CONICET, Argentina from 2009 to 2011.His research interests are focused on mechatronics/robotics and perception for sustainability, including strong focus on agricultural applications and practices. As secondary field, he also interested on intelligent transportation systems, electrical machinery and autonomous motion of robotic systems.So far, he has published more than 100 journal articles. Currently, he is serving as the Member of numerous editorial boards, including IEEE OJ ITS, IEEE Trans on Mechatronics, Robotica-Cambridge, Journal of Field Robotics, Computers and Electronics in Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering. Besides, he serves as the Peer review of numerous scientific journals and governmental funding agencies.
