报告人简介：ELKAMIL HAMED MOHAMED TOLA, Professor (Agricultural Engineering), King Saud University.
ELKAMIL HAMED MOHAMED TOLA is a Professor of King Saud University. He received the B.Sc. degree in agricultural engineering from the University of Khartoum, Sudan, in 1985, the M.Sc. degree in the area of conservation tillage in 1995, and the Ph.D. degree from Hohenheim University, Stuttgart, Germany, in 2002, in the area of zero-tillage technology. He is an Agricultural Engineer with a teaching background and research work experience. He undertook a Postdoctoral research study in 2005–2007, funded by the JSPS, at the Crop Production Engineering Laboratory of Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan in the areas of Precision Farming and Zero Tillage. He was a Visiting Fellow with the University of South Australia in 2008–2009 and worked on GRDC-funded project on zero-till disc coulter mechanics. He worked as Teaching Assistant with the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Khartoum, in 1990–1995, Lecturer “Instructor” in 1996–2002, Assistant Professor in 2002–2009, and Associate Professor in 2009–2011. Since April 2011, he has been working at the Precision Agriculture Research Chair of King Saud University, where he was promoted from Associate Professor to Professor.
His research interests include conservation agriculture, precision agriculture, sustainable agriculture, and farm power and machinery systems.
