The 2019 Annual Progress Seminar of THE UNICAC project of Erasmus+ was held in OUR school

 

On December 19th, Erasmus+ UNiversity Cooperation Framework for Knowledge Transfer in Central Asia and China UNICAC annual progress Seminar was held in our university. Representatives from 7 universities from 4 countries including Spain participated in the seminar.

The seminar was entitled "Quality Research of Higher Education Institutions: On the theme of Goals, Strategies and Achievements, the author discussed and exchanged the methods of measuring academic productivity of research institutions in China, EU and Central Asian countries, and the roles and responsibilities of research universities in the modern world. The seminar was chaired by Professor Rauf Alimov, President of Kuzhan University of Commerce and Trade (IET). Professor Wang Shaojin of The School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering first introduced the overall progress of scientific research and academic research of the school and the college, showing the important influence of our school in the field of modern world agriculture. Next, Yan Fengxin, UNICAC project leader, kuzhan University of Commerce and Trade (IET SaidqosimMukhtorov, deputy director of the foreign affairs office of TSUC, Miguel from the university of seville, Spain, and professor AhmedYusupov from the university of information technology (TUIT) of tashkent, uzbekistan, shared their effective practices and advanced experience in stimulating the scientific research potential of faculty and staff. In the end, Professor Inmaculada from The University of Seville, Spain, the chief expert of UNICAC project, reported the annual progress to the participants and sincerely invited teachers and students of OUR university to participate in the follow-up research work of the project. During the seminar, members of the project team visited the teaching development Center of our school and discussed with the person in charge of the center about our school's experience and practice in teaching development.


The European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students (Erasmus+) aims to strengthen global cooperation in education and research. We will promote academic, research, training and personnel exchanges among universities and research institutions. In August 2018, the UNICAC project jointly applied by 11 universities from 6 countries, including OUR university, led by The University of Seville in Spain, was approved and received more than 810,000 euros in funding. This is the first time that our school has successfully applied for the European Erasmus+ programme and received funding. The project will be managed dynamically, with two to three project meetings held annually in the member countries to discuss the research progress of the project.
